about
New song by AVULSED, 8 years after their latest new material!!
This song is dedicated in loving memory of Verónica Vázquez (Dave Rotten's wife) whose life was taken away by the vile evil called cancer in February 28th, 2022... but she's now eternal in our hearts!
That thing appeared out of nowhere
Unsuspected was its destructive power
It was giving intermittent warnings
But we couldn’t see it coming
The first blow was devastating
But you overcame like a fighter
Hard was the recovery process
The first great battle was won!
VILE EVIL ROTTED OVER
You left an immortal legacy
VILE EVIL ROTTED OVER
Evil is dead, but now you are eternal!
But every storm is preceded by calm
This lasted six wonderful months
And the second battle appeared from naught
This one looked even tougher and sicker
VILE EVIL ROTTED OVER
You left an immortal legacy
VILE EVIL ROTTED OVER
Evil is dead, but now you are eternal!
Many times you fell, in all you rose
But you never gave up, strong and fearless
And you looked the beast eye to eye, day by day
With courage and dignity until your last breath
VILE EVIL ROTTED OVER
You left an immortal legacy
VILE EVIL ROTTED OVER
Evil is dead, but now you are eternal!
You fought fiercely til the end
You never bowed to a superior force

I really cant pick a favorite track, this whole album kicks so much ass with its intensity and ferocity from beginning to end. Definitely a new favorite artist. Really gives off Necrophobic vibes with the melodies and atmosphere. Andrés Salas

Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance

Californian quartet defining themselves as Sci-Fi black metal, maybe due to cosmic and interstellar topics, sounding like blackened death metal too ("The Maw"). It's a well-balanced melodic black metal album, with some fast-paced tracks and nice rhythmic transitions reminding me of Swiss band Celtic Frost (e.g. Terminal Odyssey). In other words not overly dominated by drum speed and also not sounding as extreme or as raw as some BM can be. sachavonkarl74
