tr00 Classic AVULSED. Brutal and intense , but retaining a keen sense for melody. Strong in every aspect a death metal fan can ask for: huge, catchy riffs, crushing songs and a stellar vocal performance from Dave Rotten. Must own. Favorite track: Devourer of the Dead.

Travis Niemeyer Though I have been into death metal since '92, I heard Avulsed in '09 and they became my favorite death metal band. That says a lot given how much great death metal one can know in so many years of active death metal fandom! ALL their albums rule. Get it!

Who doesn't know about Rogga and his phenomenal output of swedeath? It has to be acknowledged that he doesn't put out any bad songs and is capable to hold up the tension. Not only that, je eben manages to increase the intensity of his works. mourner

I can't formally retract the erroneous 2.0 I gave this back in 2018, but I can say that, five years on, I've come around to this record in a big way. Quality death metal with great atmosphere without being "atmospheric" (read: boring) metal. Diabolus in Muzaka
